Highlights of the Hannah Montana premiere:

- Miley Cyrus' complete inability to walk in her hot hot shoes.
- Billy Ray doing this thing where the barracked fans are flipping out, he gives this stern stare into the crowd, then, maintaining the stare, starts dancing his way over to them. He did this at least four separate times.
- Miley shouting (accidentally) into my ear "WHERE ARE THE HOT ONES?"
- Walking Mitch Hewer, ie Maxxie from Skins, all the way down, through press and paparazzi, and basically becoming bff with his mom. I touched him gently on the elbow a lot. 

Occurances/sightings brought on extraordinary sleep deprivation and jetlag upon my return to London, where the streets are paved with gold

-shapeless green entity in my peripheral vision

- twitching. Twitchings.

- brushing my teeth 5 times with the French version of Sensodyne. Yucky.

- momentarily believing my newly acquired pounds (£'s) to be Confederate money.

I will be in Edinburgh tomorrow where I plan to sleep and sleep and sleep but if I'm not sleeping and you are in Scotland you should probably hang out with me.

Today I took German ADD medication (care of Britain's Fareed Zakaria), rode the bus through Chelsea and read Paradise Lost. Now I don't feel great, but I'm developing a freakishly intense fondness for this book which, unlike most of my peers, I didn't read in junior year honors english.
